So Not!Mercy Graves became Not!Cortana? This fills me with feelings of...

...quite a lot of apathy, really, but that's how I feel towards most Smallville. I guess it's certainly a direction to take the character, and these comics feel more like what the series should or could have been.

Also 3D printing really can do everything. Even making a fully functioning robot that controls wind in less than a hour.

If it's a LexCorp 3-D printer which may have anything up to and including Brainiac tech in it (And IIRC Smallville Brainiac was a fluidform mechamorph), I can live with it...

What the hell is Ollie wearing? When I first saw him, I thought he was Green Lantern.

Is there some reason all of the costumes from the show have been changed?

I actually assumed he was a whitewashed Connor at first.

Ollie retired so he put away the hood. He then made himself some new armor with a 3D printer to help fight the invasion.
As for the others' costumes no idea.

It might have to do with not wanting to resemble the actors who portrayed the characters on the show. If they constantly use the likeness of the actor then that actor might be entitled to royalties.

But that only explains the faces. The costumes have nothing to do with the actor's likeness, DC own the rights to the costumes used - hell, the Superman suit on the show was literally Brandon Routh's hand-me-downs.

Really, the only costumes here that I like are the Superman & Supergirl costumes - Really wish DC had gone in that direction for their New 52 suits. Everyone else just looks kinda crappy, but at least they look better than Impulse. God, I hated that redesign.
