Ms. Marvel's Spider-Man team-up finale

When last we left our team upping heroine, she was going to lay the smack down on someone committing a crime while dressed like Captain Marvel, when suddenly: Spider-Man!


Turns out the woman dressed like Captain Marvel is Dr. Minerva, a Kree geneticist. She stole an Inhuman cocoon with the hopes of using Inhuman genetics to boost Kree powers. Turns out she'd already done it on herself, so she turns into some sort of bat monster with laser vision. As you do.





Anyway. They grab the cocoon and run, and it hatches into a baby, so Kamala takes the baby and runs while Spider-Man fights Dr. Minerva. And then...






Around 4 2/3 pages of a 14-page story.

Given her line of sight, it's possible that she's freezing up due to seeing Spider-Man in action.

That was my intepretation as well... Spidey thinks she's freezing up cause she's freaking out about the monster... but she's just going "OMG it's SPIDER-MAN!"
