31 Days of Scans, Day 30: Build your dream team of five characters (Main Post)

Here's a question I get asked a lot on my Tumblr, and that is 'if you could put together your own superhero team using any characters you want, who would you pick and why?'

In my perfect Earth-2 Universe, my current Justice Society would be fronted by these awesome characters:




And of course, why stop with these guys? I'd throw in Queen Marella to fill in the Aquawoman spot on the Justice Society, as well as Kendra Muñoz-Saunders' Hawkgirl since Shiera is pretty retired from superheroics at this point in her life.

My top five are easily Huntress, Power Girl, Fury, Jade and Obsidian, but one can't deny that the Justice Society does function better with more people on the team. ;)

I like how the spectre is doing his best to patiently wait for the picture to be taken.

He's probably going to turn the photographer into a photo album if he doesn't catch Spec's good side.

In fairness, the Spectre's default state is a level of brooding so intense that even Batman is freaked out by it..

Yeah. Superman has heat vision. The Spectre has a DEATH stare, that can KILL.
