Marvel Zombies vs. The Army of Darkness

As requested by thehood , here is Marvel Zombies vs. The Army of Darkness. This one's more humorous than the other Marvel Zombie comics so even if you disliked them you might find this one appealing.

Ash finds himself stranded in the universe of the Marvel Zombies on the day of the initial infection.





He's teleported away to another location and sees a purple light in the sky. Suddenly he remembers where he was before entering here.









The zombie plague starts to spread and Spider-Man attempts to save those he can.

Spider-Man (who was bitten) pretends to be a zombie and claims Ash for himself from the others. On the rooftop...





Long story short, Punisher is devoured by zombies.





Ash tells her about the Necromonicon and, after learning that it's a book of dark magic, is directed to Dr. Strange's sanctum sanctorum.

The story opens and we are introduced to Ash... again.



This Ashley Williams does his best to carve through as much zombies as he can when he sees 'our' Ash. Upon seeing this version of himself, many feelings and thoughts about a destiny unfulfilled but the biggest thing going through his head...




"Do not feed the animals!" Ash chainsaws Howard in half. Howard is still 'alive' and it is only the sudden arrival of the Scarlet Witch that saves them. She realizes that since Ash was telling the truth that he might be the only one able to stop the situation with his knowledge of the Necromonicon.

Upon arriving in the sanctum they discover Strange is missing and his servants zombies. They question some of his books for knowledge of the Necromonicon's whereabouts.

Doom informs them that the origin of the virus is not supernatural but extraterrestrial in nature and thus they are wasting his time. He orders Ash to be taken away. 



Doom tells her that it was none other than Reed Richards who infected himself and spread the plague (as seen in 'Dead Days').

With Scarlet Witch's help, Ash uses a Doombot's clothes and disguises himself as Dr. Doom. He breaks into the library and finds the Necromonicon.



Deeper in Doom's castle...

Dazzler tells Ash that Enchantress's powers only work on men and that she can see her for what she really is.





Outside...



Doom and Scarlet Witch are both attacked by the zombies and Ash runs back to the Necromonicon. He tells it that, as a sentient book written in blood, the zombies are going to eat it too unless it helps. The Necromonicon reluctantly agrees and raises an army of Deadites to distract the other zombies long enough.

They come across Doom who is still alive and porting the Latverian refugees through his interdimensional transporter.







After given the option of several different dimension Ash is transported to the one that closest resembles his own.

okay... the whole marvel Zombies thing confuses the hell out of me. It started in the ultimate verse with ultimate Johnny and Reed... but ultimate Johnny and reed are fine (psychosis not withstanding) now....

also how many Ashes are there? and how did normal earth Ash get a robot hand?

Ultimate Johnny and Reed didn't start anything. The zombie FF crossed over to the Ultimate universe afterwards.

Two Ashes, our Ash and a regular Ash who lived in the Zombie universe. The latter had normal hands.

It didn't start in the Ultimate Universe, Zombie Reed and Johnny traveled to the UU.
