We off of the first of many tie-ins and returning to look at the second issue of the main event book of Amazons Attack. Again, no recapping going on here. I'm just pulling out what stands out the most to me.



In case you are wondering, Batman is referring to Wonder Woman.















Next week, we'll look at the next tie-in issue of the comic, Wonder Woman #10.

Also, Wonder Woman Page Count: 2 in the main book (you think she appear more or something in a comic involving the Amazons).

And then she vanishes from the story, because she has something better to do: Appear in Countdown.

And that's one of the few times when "Appearing in Countdown" is the legitimately better option!

So... uh, what kind of war is this? Like, they're just hanging out in the ruins of Washington. They're not going to attack the rest of the country?

Just smashing a bunch of statues and pretty much going "Come at me bro" to the enemy doesn't seem like a good strategy.

They are attacking a lot of other places... sort of (the issue ended with apparently all of Kansas being on fire or something). There's also another group of Amazons out there too and they are causing problems... *sigh*. It's kind of stupid to honestly explain all of this. It kind of falls apart if you think about it too much it.

That's probably the reasoning for that, Hippolyta was in the JLA at some point and most likely knows Clark's secret.

I can't STAND Hippolyta in this run. So out of character, tho I think if memory serves me right she absorbed some of Circe's ...personality? I dunno. Anyway I think Hippolyta always kinda of considered Donna like a second daughter after Jimenez's run. Also what is with Artemis' pixie cut?

WW writers have had a long and proud tradition of butt-fucking Polly's characterization since at least WML, so... uh... points to Pfeifer for keeping in with it?
