I always wondered if this was supposed to be the same King Hyperion that was in Exiles. He got kind of a serious downgrade if that's the case.

Apparently so, which doesn't explain how he got off the Earth on which he'd been stranded and back to 616.

Yeah, that part is unexplained. I guess they wanted an exceptionally strong villain to pit against Blue Marvel.

Yes, this is the same King Hyperion. He could've been weakened by his fight with Blue Marvel and the monster in the previous post that managed to blast Moonstone also affected Hyperion.

The writer was posting in CBRF when this came out. He intended it to be the Exiles King Hyprion. He stated that King Hyperion got off the earth he was stranded on "The same way he got around universes when he was in the Exiles" He did not know what a Tallus was, he assumed Hyperion had a power that let he dimension jump, and did not know that he had finally been defeated by being stranded on a dead earth.

I don't think he actually ever read the Exiles issues.

He also wasn't bothered with why this KH looks different, or matching his power set.

The general decision on the forum was that this isn't the Exiles King Hyperion, but a version of him from another reality. As he looks different, has different powers and different power levels.

Am I the only one who things that Ghost looks better/creepier with his mas up and mouth exposed, than his usual look?

Because his regular looks makes him look just like some lame video game character.

I always thought the Juggernaut was the one who put some serious effort into this doing the right thing in this series.

I've never really understood Ghost, as he just kinda appeared at one point, and I didn't even know it was a suit for most of the time, but I find his loyalty to the team kinda adorable (even if he himself is kinda creepy/gross, seriously man, use a toothbrush)
