Well, the plan was "So she can get the help she needs." It just didn't turn out that way.

This is why I love Daredevil as a hero. He makes some really screwed up, ambiguous judgment calls, and for all his moral conviction he can be kind of a failure as a human being. But we like him because he always tries to do it for the right reasons... he's a subtler kind of egomaniac than the likes of say, Hal Jordan, the Green Lantern.

So Matt committed fraud to have her committed? I'm not familiar with this storyline, but that's deep into dirtbag anti-hero territory.

I'm surprised the writer went there. Oh, I just noticed this is Dan Chichester, not Annie Nocenti. Well, it's still over the line.

Matt said that they would eventually find out the documents were forged, but by that point the doctors would have examined her and seen that she really did need help, and then they would file the proper paperwork.
