Sigh. What really annoyed me was how I think it was the original Generations, Lois ended up dying of cancer due to being a chain smoker but Lana ended up with Superman and was eternally young and super powered via magic inexplicably.

I thought Lois was killed by her and Clark's son who had been brain-washed by Luthor.

I don't think so, I know evil son killed his Supergirl sister, could've swore Lois died of natural/kinda natural causes.

If I remember correctly, Lois actually lived into old age - with cancer, but still into old age - until Luthor/Ultra-Humanite showed up at her daughter's wedding and blasted her into oblivion.
