Wellllll...not to cast around spoilers, but that's not looking so hot either. Apparently Morrison is taking the same approach to the sexual politics/exploitation aspect of Marston-era WW as Tarantino takes to racial politics/blaxploitation in cinema. i.e., with all the subtelty of a sledgehammer and a veneer of "I'm doing it ironically, so it's not *really* offensive".
I reserve judgement until I read the whole thing, but it still really comes off as a comic about women written by a straight white man.
(I also quite like the return of a glamorous Etta Candy, perhaps drawing some inspiration from Rebel Wilson; but I like less their, again, resurrecting classic Marston elements such as 'being fat = being an uncontrollable glutton'.)
Founded by girl geeks and members of the slash fandom, scans_daily strives to provide an atmosphere which is LGBTQ-friendly, anti-racist, anti-ableist, woman-friendly and otherwise discrimination and harassment free.
Bottom line: If slash, feminism or anti-oppressive practice makes you react negatively, scans_daily is probably not for you.
