Damn, it Millar. You almost had it. You just could not leave well enough alone.

He really is his own worst enemy, isn't he?

Yeah, it's a really weird choice. I don't think that the it ruins the book and the idea of the joke is okay, but it's just a really weird final image to end on, especially after the emotional resonant stuff.

But I guaran-damn-tee that gag doesn't make it into any film version of this story without at least getting overhauled, if not cut entirely.

And apparently the past version of I-don't-care-what-his-name-is doesn't mind that an identical version of him is somehow living his life for him while he works, and improving on it? That should have driven him to live on an island somewhere out of paranoia.

Heck, Dostoyevsky wrote an entire novel about why it's a terrible idea!

This is taking serious-consequence-free-time-travel to a level even Stephen Moffat wouldn't go. (See Also: "The Wedding of River Song", where he finds that no, he really can't go back and have every possible moment with the people he loved.)

Given Danny was also actively fucking up history in previous issues, kinda hard to feel sorry for him.

That's the face of a man who hasn't learnt his lesson regarding messing with the timestream, and is set to mess it up some more.

Robocop: The Ballet

I can't decide if it'd be terribly terrible or terribly wonderful.
