Having read this comic, re-reading Danielle's "I am the shield!" line in New Avengers now feels dissapointing. I want her going "I am the ****** shield!". someone should edit the panel.

Jennie is from the first Power Man and Iron Fist series, and was in prison in the second Power Man and Iron Fist series.

I really don't like the art. It's a terrible look for Luke.

I'm really weirded out by the excessive lines coming from the sides of the characters' mouths. It almost looks like they have the jokers scars from Nolan's film.

Being distinctive and unique isn't bad and this art certainly isn't bad.

In fact, Luke Cage looks spectacular in the suits he's wearing in these books.

Mileage varies, obviously. I think Luke's bizarre proportions and Danny having no lips are both distracting and unappealing. If you're enjoying it, that's great.

I just had the pleasure of meeting David Walker at C2E2 yesterday. Very friendly guy. He's definitely got a lot of love for these characters. Wants to bring my in Shang-Chi and the Sons of the Tigers at some point.

And he's been e-mailing Nick Spencer on an almost weekly basis in order to get Misty back from Sam.
