Yup. more humor, emotion, characterization and genuine fun in one issue of this than in pretty much the entire run of the current series.

Such a fun, fun, series. It showed that these people may have had their differences, but at the end of the day, were more alike than different, and quite able to be good friends.

I love how Flash was playfully ribbing Canary namedropping the JSA all the time there without being obnoxious about it.

Also, Hal was a playful jerk, went too far, but when Flash called him on it he listened. In today's continuity that'd have been a fist fight or Hal would've left in a huff without saying anything.

Hal's an ass without being completely unlikable. This is a Hal I don't mind, unlike recent Hals.
