Warning for violence and gore... but not in the way you think.
My Hero Academia has wrapped up another long arc, so let's take a moment to check out the first half of it. I'll post about the second half later.
So after all the craziness, Summer Training Camp is ready to commence in Chapter 70: Wild, Wild Pussycats! All of the students of the academy are driven out to a forest area...

...already begun.

The chapter ends with the heroes in training, fighting their way through the forest and towards camp with Deku and others leading the charge.
Then onto Chapter 71: Kota, the characters arrive at the camp a bit after 5 pm. They talk with the pro heroes and Deku spots the little boy from before early on...

Later at night after an incident, Kota passes out in the baths area and Deku saves him.

Then comes Chapter 72: Day 2... and this is where things change... First! Let's me the rest of the Pussycats!

The other is Tiger and as he puts it: And I'm here to punch and kick you into shape.
There's some good scenes as everyone is training together, bonding with one another. However, the big and more powerful stuff happens towards the end of the chapter. Deku follows Kota to his little secret base at a cave near a cliff, bringing some dinner with him.
Deku tries talking with him...

It's a birth defect that shows up rarely... he still admired heroes, though. But in our society, someone without a quirk can't be a hero. So he trained. He tried pulling objects telepathically. He tried breathing fire...
Everyone views quirks differently. Nothing about them is absolute...

All for a brighter future.
Then comes Chapter 73: Good Evening...

Doesn't matter how many punks with ambition you bring along. That only increases the risks. It's far better to have a small number of experienced elites. First, we'll make them understand that their peace rest in our hands.
Next day, Deku talks with Todoroki about Kota...

Later that night, the Pussycats decide to give the teens a break and hold a Test of Courage in the woods. It's something you see in a lot of manga and animes that's sort of like a haunted house, but it's more set up a dirt trail in the woods.
Anyways, everyone's having fun and stuff when something happens...

The chapter ends with Deku realizes that Kota is out at his secret base, by himself. Cue shot of the kid as a cloak figure appears behind him...
Then onto Chapter 74: Smoke Signal... things aren't going well...

You pro heroes, stay out of our way. You're not the ones we got a beef with.

But despite that, Deku knows he has to stay and protect him. Even if it costs him his life...
Then to Chapter 75: Stake Your Life, Hero! As everyone is fighting (only 2 of the Pussycats are still standing. Pixe-Bob is down and Ragdoll has gone missing), we continue with the fight between Deku and huge bad guy...

He ultimately has to defeat this guy himself. The chapter ends with him going all out with a destructive All For One 100%.
We end the first part of the Summer Training Camp with Chapter 76: My Hero. The attack wrecks both of Deku's arms badly and worse of all... it doesn't work. The guy blocked it with muscles from all over his body and ramps up his power, brutally beating Deku.
Deku doesn't believe he has a chance, so he tells Kota to run as the guy's entire body explodes into a mass of wriggly muscles...

That's it for now. Next time, we'll pick up with the rest of the characters and see how they are holding up during this attack.

And it's arguably one of Gurren Lagann's spiritual precursors - not bad for something that was originally conceived as a kids' show and then gave us this:
