Sure, if I could change size, I'd totally grow huge so my cell is as cramped as possible.

To be fair, if I was imprisoning someone who could grow to full giant-size in a prison cell, I'd make it as big as possible so that they couldn't just grow full-size and smash it down. And if I was said giant-size grower in said prison cell, I'd probably grow large every so often at least to either see if I could actually smash it down or to fill up the space at least so I wasn't just a normal-sized person in an empty hanger-sized cell.

I mean, I get that Mark Millar's not very popular round these parts and for good reason, but this one just seems a little nit-picky.

Oh, it's totally a nit-pick. No doubt the real reason is that a giant prisoner is more visually interesting than a normal-sized prisoner. It still bugged me, though.

Potentially, her real power is shrinking -- and her 'natural' size has become enormous. So if her power is blocked, she could be stuck in that size.

Yeah, well, you'd probably also try to shrink out of the restraints the molecule guy put on you, smartypants.

Maybe she's like threeboot Colossal Boy and her default size is huge--she has to concentrate to stay small or something? I don't know how she could stay hidden when she sleeps in that case, but I don't know how a lady whose power is growing to giant-size managed to evade surveillance for decades in the first place.
