In my opinion this was one of the most enjoyable storylines on the title. Lots of good stuff had to be cut out so be sure to check out the actual issues if you liked this.

The Kingpin is forced to lay low due to a federal case against him. Silvermane attempts to start an alliance with Hammerhead to overthrow him, saying he'll be the brains and Hammerhead will be the brawn. Hammerhead kills him, saying he has enough brains already.









He offers the men there a chance to work for him instead of Kingpin. One of them shoots him in the head.





Spider-Man hears the explosion and goes to investigate when...

Spider-Man is later swinging around Fisk's building when Elektra tells him to come in. Spider-Man asks how does he know this isn't a trap, and Elektra says if it was he'd already be dead.

Spidey goes to police captain Jean DeWolfe for her advice.



Seven minutes earlier, Shang-Chi and and Daniel Rand are meeting up together.

During the beginning of the fight Hammerhead is able convince Elektra to work for him by offering her to double whatever Fisk is paying.



Spidey eventually realizes he doesn't know what's going on and webs everyone up.









Elektra proceeds to kick the crap out of him and push him out the window.

Hammerhead realizes that the situation has turned sour for him when the police arrive and decides to leave the country. Elektra asks if this means her job offer has been rescinded.











Outside Spider-Man calls Black Cat out on her bullshit on siding with Hammerhead just to get back at Fisk. She says she's changed and tries to pull off his mask to kiss him. When she realizes he's just a kid she gets sick and throws up on him.

Ah, the "villain shows off how powerful they are by having something they bought out".
That always pisses me off. (Which I guess is the point?)

Though I do sort of like Peter's response to Fisk's rant. You're full of crap, Wilson. Maybe if you were some manner of accomplished actor, I'd buy it... but you ain't.

So Felicia says that when Fisk's done and gone she'll give up the costume.
Now I do recall that after the fat man got defenstrated, she was still running around trying to take Fisk's stuff.
Shame Bendis didn't address that bit.

Oh, and Hammerhead got coma'd. Elektra got coma'd, and we never saw or heard from them ever again.
And Dewolfe being Fisk's agent. Boy, that plot element really went somewhere, huh?
No, wait. She got shot and died and never mentioned again.
Oh, welp.

And how can Black Cat not notice Peter's a teenager? Even without the skinniness, surely he'd sound pretty young?
It really took unmasking him to figure it out?

Have to disagree on this being one of the stronger arcs.
It's middle of the road. Neither bad nor strong.
Some interesting concepts, but most which never really went anywhere.
(But hey, Ultimate Universe. That goes without saying.)

His voice is muffled and it's possible for someone in their late teens to sound older than they are.

This guy is 15 for example and could probably pass for being in his twenties at least with his voice.

What's to address? She's a shitty human being who lies because she's trying to get in someone's pants. She jumpstarted a gang war because she wanted to get revenge on Fisk all because her father was a drunk who got himself arrested because he was a drunk.

Have Peter (who seems like the sort of person who'd remember that sort of thing) point out she said she'd give up when Fisk was gone.
