That is Little Lulu kneeling by the chair, and Little Orphan Annie just behind and to the left of Wonder Woman. The blonde is Go-Girl, a short-lived character created by Trina Robbins and the same artist who drew this cover.
(I'm so glad s_d is here to sooth with pretty art. I've recently hit surprise!racism and privilege over at Wikipedia and feel like I'm going to cry. I don't think I can even go over there any more, particularly since nobody else seemed to see anything wrong. So, just glad s_d rocks right now. Rock on!)
I haven't seen GO-GIRL, it was after my cut-off date. But Trina Robbins tried a few girl-oriented strips around that time, and they were light, pleasant fun (but forgettable).
The one who looks like Mary Marvel is supposed to be Little Lulu. They do have the same hairstyle but that's Lulu's dress and she belongs with Annie, Dot and Audrey better than Mary Marvel would.
Well, when nobody else sees it, I start to wonder if I'm imagining it. Basically, if you look on the talk page for the Wikipedia reference desks, you'll probably see (look for 'soapboxing' or 'racism'). I wasn't the person who asked the question they're discussing, but I foolishly tried to actually answer it as opposed to asserting that nobody should forget the racism against white people. :( They're making me so upset and angry that I can't even go back and see what they've said now. And nobody else supported what I said, so am I really just imagining things?
Hmmm...whatever it is I'm not seeing it. Likely looking in the wrong areas. Well whatever. You've got the right idea though. Just don't go back. Don't think about it. People on the internet aren't worth your time and energy to get upset over.
There is no such thing as racisim against white people (or, if there is, it's very rare), only race predjudiced. Racism is defined as one race is superior against all others, IE- White supremacy. The word "Racism" is often used too frequently in contexts where "predjudiced" should replace it.
Unless of course they were going on about how white people are filthy and inferior to say, asians. Then yes, that would be "White Racism".

For the record, I am not saying that what you witnessed was not offensive or hurtful, just that the people on Wikipedia may be using a different definition of the word. Even so, if they were being predjudiced towards "race" it should be edited because Wikipedia is supposed to be an unbiased source.
I agree with your trying to keep language clear and well-defined, but it's a struggle. Like "misogyny," racism has been misused so much that its original meaning is about to be lost.
Okay, I'm seeing Little Lulu, Little Dot, Li'l Orphan Annie, what I think might be Wendy the Good Witch there on the right, although I'm not sure, and that blonde girl looks awfully familiar, probably from the same era. Not sure who the one with overalls is, though.
Founded by girl geeks and members of the slash fandom, scans_daily strives to provide an atmosphere which is LGBTQ-friendly, anti-racist, anti-ableist, woman-friendly and otherwise discrimination and harassment free.
Bottom line: If slash, feminism or anti-oppressive practice makes you react negatively, scans_daily is probably not for you.

I keep thinking the one in the middle at the back is Jimmy Olsen, but she's not sleek enough.
