*DC's Rebirth JLA/Watchmen event, #6 of 7, last pages:

Doctor Manhattan disintegrates a downed Superman...but nothing happens. When the blue light clears, someone stands between them, chowing a carrot.

And then Batman's secret-weapon, final-plan savior turns out to be Bugs Bunny. Cliffhanger.

The Story:

While searching for Toyman, Lois and Clark run into Mxyzptlk, who's transforming Metropolis into a giant strip mall.

Superman suits up to stop him. In the Looneyverse, Bugs and Elmer are doing their thing when an interdimensional being approaches them for help.





Do-Do's goal is to fun someone new to have fun with, since he's been displaced.

While Supes makes short work of Mxy, Bugs, being a proponent of wackiness, unintentionally helps the Do-Do escape their world, where it smashes into Mxyzptlk.









The two discuess the DC and Looney Tunes universes. Mxy, after witnessing the Looneyverse's potential, decides that if he can't annoy Superman...

...Maybe he can send an army of certain someones to do it for him.

Moo-hoo-ha-ha.

And with Mxy wanting to toy with Superman past his 90-day ban and Do-Do wanting to mess with someone new, period, the Justice League witnesses the first signs of the coming storm:

For the record, Batman's small friend is Playboy Penguin, this little guy:

He's no Michigan J. Frog, but he'll do in a pinch.

Really fun mini, this one! There's some clever lore-related usage of the Looney Tunes in this series - I'll post the next issues ASAP!
