Greetings True Believers! I bring you scans from "Dark" Wolverine #76 Daken visits the the Fantastic Four and course meets new friends. Marvel is taking Daken's Bisexuality (Or is it?) and beating the reader over the head with it. So spoilers and help Daken pick out his fave pairings!

So Daken is trying to set-up a double-cross or triple-cross or a 4-cross involving the FF and DA. So far one of Bulleye's arrows ended up in the leg of Johnny Storm. An arrow that looks like the one Bullseye fired into Daken's chest earlier that day. But who put there? And exactly who is Daken betraying? We don't know yet.

This are the scenes when Daken sneaks off to talk to the FF. They don't know he's coming.
(BTW, Daken has the power to control a person's emotional state via pheromones.)

So he ships Johnny/Ben? Ooooh, Daken is so dark and edgy.....Ok, he's silly but maybe the character find his way so or later.

Daniel Way a homophobe? Perish the thought!

What, just because every time he writes a gay or bi character, their sexuality is, to him, the only defining characteristic of their personalities, so he goes on and on about it in a way he'd never have a straight person talk? Now that's just crazy talk.

Bisexuality as a superpower. Hm.

Suggesting bisexuality in others is an established superpower in Marvel comics! In Cable and Deadpool, Black Mamba does this.

Except instead of getting violent and angry everyone stood around awkwardly.

Has he written any gay/bi characters besides Daken?

Well, there's that incredibly queeny clown in the NIGHTHAWK mini.

In a cautionary tale about toilet blowjobs.

Or that thing on Way's message board when he used his mod powers to give a commenter he disagreed with the title "Fag".

On the positive side, the whole "I wanna be Garth Ennis so hard" thing he had going on made it pretty easy to walk away from Wolverine: Origins and everything else he's involved with.

Yeah, those are good. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but Way doesn't make it easy.

Can we get him away from Wade and Daken now? D:

Stay classy, Mr. Way.

He probably thinks it's okay to do that because of SOUTH PARK, but there's something about the way they use those words that makes it different and sometimes necessary to make a larger point--and they make a point of being genuinely pro-gay rights(and gay marriage) as well; nobody can mistake Parker & Stone for homophobes.

When Way does it, I suspect he does it maybe because he thinks it's just okay to say "fag" now. I understand Ennis is an influence of his? Ennis would never use it that way.

Being pro-gay marriage does not make it appropriate to use the word "fag".

Being South Park does.

If it were okay to say "fag" because you're South Park, South Park wouldn't do it.
