Gross as it is, I can't help staring at Aquaman. What is he doing with that trident? It seems like the worst attack pose for that weapon possible. And his hands, particularly the one in the foreground, are so tiny compared to the rest of his body.

And then Cyborg Boom-Tubed the Squad into the earth's molten core, or the bottom of the ocean, or 25000 feet in the air, and Max Lord lived happily ever after! *gently closes storybook, kisses child on head* The end.

But yeah, okay, rogue Justice League is always big trouble. Like brainwashed Clark in Infinite Crisis, only there's no Wonder Woman to make Max look south while his body faces north.

Also, where's Batman and Enchantress in all this?

Enchantress was rendered unconscious at the beginning of the issue when Max manipulated June Moon's mind into fighting against the Enchantress entity.

Batman is with Amanda Waller and Deadshot in another part of Belle Reve, having defeated Lobo by injecting one of those Suicide Squad nano-bombs in his neck and blowing up his head.

I love that panel that seems to imply that Superman, Flash, Wonder Woman, and the Green Lanterns are all moving at the same speed that Boomerang can run.
