Hickman's 6th issue writing the FF was amazing.

I can't think of a better run in the decade I've been reading comics

I imagine Dale Eaglesham had some fun drawing all those Reeds.

I wonder if, after he was done, it was like the comic book version of Being John Malkovich: all he could draw was Reed.

I keep hoping Marvel will re-collect Hickman's run in some nice Ultimate or Complete collections. I've only heard great things about it.

Same here. I strongly dislike his Avengers run (really one of the worst comic book runs I've read and the worst superhero team book as well), but I've heard nothing but good things about this run and Fantastic Four would be something more up his alley anyways with his love science fiction.

I know of the Council of Reeds, but never read a single issue.

This looks 90's/00's. Was Council of Reeds that recent (relatively speaking)?

Although I seem to recall Reed consulting a wall full of alternate universe Reed's skyping in sometime before that. Maybe around the time that Ben's skin was flaking off and turning into Berserker Things?

I loved this story arc, but I was a little disappointed they never used any of the known alternate Reeds, such as the one from the What Ifs where they never had powers, the one who was a brain who took over Doom's body, or, perhaps most egregious, the Reed Richards Thing of Earth-A.

Bald and bearded Reed had his own .1 issue.

He's the one who says "I've got a little Doom in me"

Soooo... why does everyone that gathers the Infinity Gems put them in a gauntlet? Thanos only did that because he subconsciously wanted to lose the Gems. You'd think an omnipotent/omniscient being who wanted to *keep* the Gems would store them someplace less... grab-able.
