Time for a little.... Romance!

scans_dailyWell, as I noted before, today is Valentines Day, that day when we celebrate the commercial exploitation of relatio.... I mean, the joys of love and partnership.
Whilst I might better known for my... more unusual tastes, I do have the soul of romantic.. a jaded, cynical, bitter, British single romantic, but a romantic nonetheless. ;)
So, in the spirit of the day I commissioned old favourite, The Black Cat to celebrate the past loves of a certain favourite character of mine...
A lttle trip down memory lane with the ladies who have mattered to the Acrobatic Ace...
I asked for something like the strip of photos you'd get from a photo booth, and I think it worked very well! (Though I take no credit for the art itself, of course)
As always The Black Cat does delightful work
The first is, of course, Zitka the elephant from Haly's Circus, who was part of Dick's life as a kid, and when he bought the circus years later.
The second is a suitably uncomfortable third wheel situation from early Teen Titans days with Dick, Wally and Donna, and I leave it to your imagination and preferences as to who is the one who imposed on the other two, or did Dona just choose not to choose and invited them both out and can't see why anyone would find that potentially awkward!
The third needs no introduction (though it's one of the cutest pics of the two of them I've ever seen)
So, enough from me (and who are your ideal couple amongst your favourite characters?
