I don't know about where you live, but I where I live there's plenty of people who equate homeless with lazy, drug addict with violent criminal, and insane with homicidal.
The average Joe seems to be rather prejudiced against the disabled or otherwise disadvantaged.
I can handle a lot of versions of the JLA, but one where Batman, Wonder Woman, and J'Onn J'Onzz all say "the kid" instead of "the child" isn't one of them.
Having 1990s-era Harrison Ford play Batman was an interesting choice. For a minute I wondered why Hal Jordan was wearing the Batsuit.
I initially skimmed past where Flash says "it's" a cyborg and I assumed that dude was just a robot...I wonder what Victor Stone might have to say about that attitude, Wally? :P
I dunno, but Ivo and Amazo frequently refer to him as programmable, so the League at least isn't working off a different playbook than they are.
We might need better terms here. I seem to remember that the original Terminator was given some actual organic flesh to blend in better with humanity, but it clearly wasn't essential to his makeup. You could call him a cyborg, but he doesn't seem to belong in the same category as the Six Million Dollar Man.
Uh, Wally? Cyborgs are people too. Hell, sapient robots are people too. I expect better from you. Then again, no one's really acting like themselves here. Something about how they all say 'kid' doesn't work right for me.

INSANITY, oh noes! Comic book logic means insanity = evil.
