scans_dailyIt's officially the first day of spring (or so my Google Doodle tells me) and that means it's officially the borthday of one Richard Grayson.
So that means, and also since it's a cold, wet Monday and could use some cheering up, it's time to post a few pieces of fanart of young Mr Grayson (though he is, of course, now technically in his late 70's)

(I bet Dick bought a couple of dozen of these and hid them around the Batcave so Batman would constantly see little glimpses of Robin around the Batcave... whether to cheer Bruce up or drive him nuts is open to debate.
I'll post some of the more interesting stuff from his comic soon, but in the meantime... enjoy!

Date: 2017-03-21 11:47 am (UTC)If they're going for the "I can fight, but usually do so with both feet on the ground (or maybe one foot if I'm doing an impressive kick" that seems to be the norm for Batman these days, they're missing the chance to do something stylistically different with Nightwing, who should be doing his patented "Flips'n'shit" fighting style to the extent he looks like he's wandered in from Zhang Yimou wuxia movie.
So I'd rather they cast someone who might be an unknown with the right moves, though I've made my preference for someone like Brennan Mejia in the role (with some acting lessons in the meantime) who would also add a dash of "not an entirely white dude" to the Batmovie franchise.
