I use it for coloring, but not flavor. In a tequila sunrise, as a for-instance. Pretty much tastes the same without the grenadine (with as little as I put in, anyway), but it doesn't look as pretty. :)

A thought: when a disguised Mystique is engaging is sexy times, how does she take off her clothes? Canonically, she's naked all the time, with the "clothes" she's wearing actually being part of her body (because otherwise they couldn't shapeshift with her). Thus, she can't take those "clothes" off. Wouldn't her partner notice that?

Three thoughts.

1) When she's preparing for disguised sexy times, she shifts into a nude form and puts actual clothes on atop it.

2) She moves her 'clothes' out of the way without actually removing them.

3) Blindfolds.

I've always wondered what her "clothes" feel like. Do they feel like actual cloth/etc? Or do they feel... fleshy? (urgh)

She can mimic textures convincingly enough that no one has ever commented on her clothing, though it would be a very, very foolish person who would touch her without her very express permission (and even then, don't... just DON'T)

If she did sonething that would tear her clothes (like, say, poking holes, chewing on her collar, falling into a bush of thorns/nettles, etc.), would she bleed or feel pain?

I suspect that it depends on if she's used flesh with nerves to form the clothes, or it's more like something akin to hair or nails. It would most likely be easier not to build nerves into it.
