So is the beginning implying that all the villains joined their respective sides out of fear of Joker and Eddy?

From what i get, Riddler has ACTUAL loyalty (we saw him have a formal conversaiton with Ivy earlier)

That's good. I just can't see the likes of Ivy, Two-Face, and Freeze being afraid of anyone. Wary, but never afraid.

I figure the beginning is just trying to pump Riddler up more. Not completely sold on this story. Darker Eddy worked better in Dark Knight: Dark City, and he didn't have to bare his midriff.

I'm curious as to what he could offer her that she would care about, or not be better able to do herself?

Why would she get involved in any sort of internecine warfare between Joker and Riddler? Wouldn't she just tell them both to piss off or she'd make them BOTH regret it?

You mean Ivy? If you do, I feel like Ivy would just feed Bats, Eddy, and Joker to a giant pitcher plant and call it a day. Then call up Selina and Harley for cocktails.

Is it just me, it's never just me, I know, but does the Joker come off as a complete idiot in this story?

I mean, some of it is the word balloons. They're using the same ones they use for bizarro, and so my mind kind of fills in the voice, but... his reactions seem less "Hannibal Lector" and more, the idiots from the purge.

Like, I expect my joker to be crazy, but intelligent. This guy is just... dull and brutal.

The Joker had 'campaign' posters made? Really? who did that for him?

Those posters though are pretty simple - just a photo (could be swiped from a newspaper or police file) some basic text slap in hardly difficult and print them on a shitty inkjet printer and bam you got your campaign posters.

So less designers/printshop and more just a poor lackey told to do something or Joker hismelf using all the time he has not sleeping doing some arts and crafts
