Having Mystique on a team because 'I'll do what others won't' strikes me as pretty stupid when you already have OML, Bishop, Fantomex and Gambit there, to say nothing of Pyslocke and Angel.

If their return to the real world isn't to kick Raven out, I call BS

I dunno. They probably won't stab you in the back. At least not as frequently as Mystique. So she actually does do what the others won't.

I'm of the opinion that if you're going to kill Logan, you leave him dead, you don't drag an alternate timeline version from the future, when you have a perfectly decent actual Wolverine in the form of Laura Kinney. If Logan could appear in more than one team book at a time, why not Laura?

I totally agree and I thought that was their plan too, but Laura seems to have been pushed to the side.

Honestly, this bother's me ever since they moved Old Logan into the main continuity. How is Logan dead when we have Old man Logan and Good Sabertooth. Let's not even add that both characters aren't even that different from Logan. At least with Alt. Nightcrawler, he was a foil to Kurt in X-force, and felt like different entirely character. Old man Logan is basically Logan. This is coming from a guy who loves Logan, having Old man Logan kinda diminishes the sadness of Logan's death, as Logan never actually left.

Wow this team is basically one big time bomb. Logan and Rogue are the only remotely trustworthy people here.

I'd give Betsy the benefit of the doubt but she tends to be used as a pawn by villains like Mojo and the baddie featured in these scans.

Yeah, but Bishop's memory was wiped, and as we all know, once you can't remember doing something, it no longer happened and you're off the hook forever.

And besides, it was only people in the future. No-one but strangers there.

To clarify, you should read that as 'wouldn't work for me, personally'.

I felt the same way about the 'red era' of the Thunderbolts...but then Soule turned that into a great title. Of course, the minute he left it nosedived, but he made me want to read a title with the Red Hulk, let alone with a group like he had. He made it work; likewise this feels like I'm more interested in these characters than I have been in a while.

I really appreciate that Cheung's recent work has faces with a lot of character, making the characters much less same-faced. Look at Warren, Bishop, and the young woman in the library. Very nice.
