I miss Helix, they were such a splendidly goofy supervillain team.

I confess I've always found the never really explained transformation of Mr Bones, the rhyming villain turned sort of her, into Director Bones, the universally feared director of the DEO to be one of the more "WTF?" character progressions in the DCU.

So what was that about the DC government and citizens being 100% nice and understanding to their heroes again, especially the Super family?

Bones and Waller both project paranoia fields, so that people around them act like ungrateful jerks. it both explains and justifies their actions.

Um, Director Bones? Don't want to be that guy, but I don't think it was your costume that struck fear in people, it was the fact you are a FUCKING SKELETON GUY.

It would take effort to NOT look intimidating when you're a walking talking skeleton.

So is he, it's just in his case, all his internal organs and dermal layers are perfectly transparent. (He's actually African American, as it turns out)
