The Age of The Sentry #3

The events are the result of the actions of the hillbilly Junior Hawler, aka the Mountain Man, given Hulk-like super strength after drinking water altered by a meteorite. Sentry manages to defeat Junior.









The Sentry is called by his ally Manoo, a space policeman, who needs relationship advice as he's fallen for an alien girl named Gtt-Chow and has no idea how to approach her. The Sentry, being just as clueless when it comes to this stuff, takes Manoo to see Millie, who knows a lot more about this stuff.

As Millie gives Manoo dating advice, the group runs into Gtt-Chow on a date in the park. Manoo and Gtt-Chow's date Warloo end up in a fight. The Sentry tries to intervene, but Millie stops him.

I love the idea that when they made the Sentry, which is supposed to be Marvel's Superman, they went ahead and published all these faux Silver Age stories to backfill his background.

I would love an ongoing from Marvel that was just this.
