Atrocitus is in the game so it's probably setting up a future arc

I didn't want to give it away in the opening post, but since Long Silence brought up Atrocious being in the game, I'll say that this is a set-up issue for Dex-Starr. :) He gets his ring on the last panel, and an origin story of sorts.

Hopefully it's not as devastating an origin story as it was in regular continuity. I tear up just thinking about it now.

And I just had one of my own good kitties pass away last week too.

That line ALONE makes me weep. Thank goodness my office has a door I can close.

I'm truly, truly sorry for your loss. I've had many cats, and it never, ever gets easier when you lose one. If it helps at all, I'm planning on lavishing even more treats and lovin on my little gals when I get home tonight in your kitty's memory.
