as much as i grow tired of the "dragging the wayne name through the mud" story angle... this actually seems interesting... Batman as a way to atone as opposed to avenge.
The Telltale game take on Batman, which this comic is based on, was just brilliant. I especially appreciated their courage to make Thomas Wayne an actual monster while implying that the positive qualities of Bruce he interited from his mother instead.
Also the big bad for this story, and I won't spoil it here, was really, really good. I'm just sad that we can't see them over at the regular Universe as they were born from Thomas's actions.
Is there no statute of limitations in the DC universe? So if you find out that a rich family or multinational company committed crimes 50 years ago, they are going to go under? I can suspend disbelief about the man dressed as a bat, aliens, superpowers etc, but this? It is a bridge too far.
