I don't know, I've never been the hugest fan of the idea of hero villain fights being propelled entirely by personal conflict, rather than underlying moral/ideological differences.
Why were Wilson and Morganfeld fighting in the first place, and why are those reasons for conflict no longer valid?
I know I'm probably missing context, but modern interpretations of Lex Luthor has him only starting shit with Superman because he was affronted by his existence sometimes on an ideological level. Otherwise he'd just be an evil but legal businessman. What's this guys excuse if he doesn't hate the superhero? Did he just start doing evil super villain plans for shits and giggles?
It's got to be a plot to further humiliate Nick and tarnish his reputation, right? I mean a niche museum with gift shop and concession stand is just so... penny ante. It's a business enterprise the size of a laser tag arena in a mall basement. A billionaire wouldn't be spending his time developing and pitching this; he'd have delegated it to someone much further down the chain in his organization.
