Dan Abnett: "Roy is delving into a world that he - under ideal circumstances - should be avoiding. But he's doing that because he wants to feel like he's doing something useful. He feels that if the Titans are over, he wants to prove that he's got a role to play. There's also this underlying sense that he's trying to prove that to himself as much as anybody else. So not only does he want to good, he wants to do good in an area where he knows how bad things can get. But he's getting close to the fire again. He knows how dangerous that fire is, so he feels like he's the ideal person to do it. Everyone else is going, are you really? Are you really? Because this is like putting you in harm's way, putting too much temptation in front of you."

Wait, what? Wally reaches past Roy's Quiver to grab his shoulder, and ends up grabbing a handful of arrows? Is there a panel missing or something?

Left out a couple of pages. They start fighting, Roy shoots the arrows at Dick, Wally catches them, which Roy was counting on.

The scans I've seen from this series...just *sigh*.
"Kids playing as heroes"? They really had those words come out of Bruce's mouth. This continuities iteration of Bruce is probably the most least dickish and most trusting he's been in a long time. That conversation should've went like this:

BRUCE: You guys are in way over your heads!
DICK: I trust them, Batman.
BRUCE: Oh aight no doubt ttyl.

You know who Roy should've reached out to? Jason. Say what you want about RHATO, but those two were pretty tight. Jason would've been like "There's a threat? Lets go shoot it in the fce, buddy. Also have you met my insanely powerful new best friends?".

Why are Roy's bracers on the outside of his arms?

That won't protect him from the string.
