People have been asking the right questions. They're like, "Who created the Gothams? How did they get their powers?" That's a great question. That's part of the Bane mystery. Bane got beat so easy. He got beaten by a headbutt. People were like, "That's such an easy way to get beaten! Why did Bane get beaten?" I was like, ah, that's a good question. That was on purpose. That's part of this Bane mystery. All of that plays in. -- Tom King

I know this is gonna be fixed, but DAMN... sad bruce makes me want to hug him...

So, Bruce knew Mr. Freeze was innocent? Interesting.

Tom King seems to be doing his own take on "the Scary Bat-God That Lives in Bruce Wayne's Head." That started in THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS but is also used in "regular" Batman comics.

BATMAN: GOTHAM KNIGHTS #20 and #24 are examples.

Ah so that's the justification for Bruce Wayne subverting the justice system for his own ends. He knew Mr. freeze was innocent all along. This is one of those situation that would have been salvaged by at least some degree of uncertainty in the story. I mean if the whole point of the jury speech is Batman is human than let Batman be fucking human. Have Bruce not sure beyond a resonable doubt that Freeze is guilty not handwave it all away with Batman tampers with a jury cause he knows better than the system once again.

Make it an actual quesiton of if Batman is in the right or not. That would be far more interesting than this IMO.
