Yeah, I was pretty sure he was done for after Ultimates. Clearly, I remembered wrong. Or else it's another version of him. There's a bunch now, aren't there.

He's too good of a character to stay dead for good, I just did not expect him here.

And I don't think they were different versions of him exactly, more like different parts, slices on different worlds across the multiverse
The recreated Ultimate universe Ultimates left to travel the multiverse and kill all of him.
