No, it's pretty much exactly what she says, her soulself was captured by an extradimensional being and stranded on his world a few issues back, but no one in the Titans knows that that is what really happened, including Raven herself.

She makes a good point, they do bring people back from the dead all the time.

I've always said that the best thing for a crit-injured Superhero is to let them die, they'll spend a month or two in story time being dead (a year or so out of story) being dead, come back with amnesia for a while before being returned to their old self by whatever the latest crisis (or Crisis) is.

It is just how their world works.
