(I love this franchise so much, thanks for posting this)
Man, this seems so petty of Michael. He's just like "here's some razor candy, I'mma kill you now." It reminds me of when he wears the sheet in the original. Just, what was going through his mind at the time? "Teehee this is gonna be so awesome lol"??
Yeah, targetting kids (rather than teenagers or adults) seems very much beneath Michael.
And I see a lot of his actions in the first movie as being performative/investigative rather than anything else. "Other people wear sheets to give people a surprise, let me try that and see what happens", the same way he gives the little tilt of the head when he pins the guy three feet off the ground, he's genuinely curious, but no more than that.
True, but you could argue Jamie's a special case being the subject of his weird druid-cult rage. He does try to run over that other kid in one of the movies, but, eh. Either way, it's just kind of funny to imagine him putting these 'pranks' together with the blank faced mask on. I imagine listening to 'Mr. Sandman' on his, uh, what was popular around that time...walkman?
Are poisons a thing he uses? (I've not seen all the movies so it may well be)
Michael has always struck me as "the use a blade" kind of killer, and the razor blades are ensuring the old lady suffers that little bit more by making her feel guilty for not noticing, as well as playing into the Halloween trope of razor blades in sweets (Which snopes suggests has happened but also says are not intended to kill, which surprises me I must confess.
