I love the B:TAS and extended DCAU version of the Joker. He's certainly got a measure of unpredictableness to him ("Well, that was fun, who's up for Chinese?") and he's absolute menacing (just ask Charlie Collins), but he's also got a complete emotional range and is capable of feeling depressed, neglected, jealous... He's oddly one of the most human incarnations of the Joker we've seen.

Yeah, despite the greatness of Heath Ledger's performance, Mark Hamill is the definitive Joker.

Definitely my favorite version. Followed closely by Cesar Romero.

The thing about Cesar Romero is Frank Gorshin seems crazier. There's just something inherently off when the Joker is less frightening than the Riddler

I do love that they just tried to cover mustache with makeup. Seems like the 60s equivalent of have DC handles a certain Man of Steel now.

Gorshin's Riddler definitely have more in common with the modern Joker than Romero's Joker. The way he switches from calculating to cackling is truly impressive.
