I love Scott Snyder. At this point, he's probably my favorite Batman writer. But holy shit is he fixated on this whole "Batman and Joker are soulmates" kind of thing. Remember that webcomic where they're on a blimp, and Joker has dismembered Alfred and Robin, and then they fall off the blimp together and it's like they're reincarnated lovers or some shit? I get that vibe now every time Snyder writes the Joker and Batman together.

If I'd had to pick a page from this, it would have been the first page, where Batman outlines that one of the reasons he has Robin's is so that he can see through the eyes of people who retain some degree of optimism and enthusiasm for the world. Which isn't news, but is nice to see acknowledged.

The rest of this just seems... more Joker/Batman rambling and I'm not sure I need to read any more of that for a looooong time.

I think this is supposed to be the real batman after trying on his visor and seeing through the BML who laughs eyes.

This is more of Snyder's Batman and Joker need each other stuff.
