Get Gwendy in on the secret, and give us (somewhat) less self-destructive version of Peter Parker earlier. What could have been!

It's very odd timing considering the news about how a Mexican comic line actually kept Gwen Stacy alive in their series to prevent fan backlash.

It turned out that wasn't quite the case. The Mexican comic came out more frequently than a monthly schedule, so they had to create their own stories, inserted in-between American ones, to make sure they didn't overtake the American comic. Some of those stories did delay Gwen's death as a result, but that issue was always going to eventually be reached.

This is great. I'm hoping that the time jumps do the canon and what these guys are trying to do justice.
