It was re-released on Comixology in 2016, split up into five issues.
It's about complexity and a student of the subject, Heller Wilson.
One day, he approached a man in a diner: " Excuse me, but are you Doctor Spencer Brownfield? "
" And what if I am? "
Heller explained himself.

Heller pulled something out.

(The visible excerpt of the article appears to be remixed from the abstract of a 1999 paper published in a journal " devoted to increasing the understanding of nonlinear phenomena ".)

(The lighting suddenly going dramatically stark in panels is great.)

Outside, Heller wondered: " Jesus! Why the hell did you do that? "
" For the city. It's always for the city. "
Later, on the Lower East Side, Heller was out with his friend Tim and his girlfriend Grace.
The latter left for the bathroom, promising to take Heller's mind off " Every last one. " of his troubles when she got back.

The band kid went to go buy Tim that beer.

(The coloring does a lot of work in this.)

Tim told him.
" You know what's weirder? When I first saw the headline, I thought maybe it was you. "
Grace came back soon after.
" What did you say to Heller? He looks even more freaked out then when I left. "
" Yeah, I'm fine. Just.. yeah, I'm okay. "
The next day, Heller showed up at Doctor Brownfield's place.
" Here. Open it. "

(The map's by artist Robert Saywitz.)

(That's Doctor Brownfield's dog, Boolean.)

(Writing's Charles Soule, art's Greg Scott, colors're Art Lyon and Matthew Petz, and letters're Thomas Mauer.
Pagecount's 8 and a little over 11/20ths of 26 from the first part.)
