King got him shot IIRC, and made it a serious head wound. The Nightwing team took the lemon and is trying to make lemonade out of it (Opinions on the 'Ric' storyline are mixed).

I doubt that it was a factor but it does make an eerie amount of sense that the only other Master Detective in the DC verse with such a close connection to Wally....close enough he might have seen through Wally's coverup...is no able to play a role in this storyline.

He's a forensic scientist rather than a detective though isn't he? He analyses and supplies data to the detectives.

I've honestly not come across anyone who is actually enjoying the Ric Grayson storyline.

I mean, it's nice to know they're out there and more power to them, but I've cancelled by subscription for the first time since... Devin Grayson.

This is true, but

1) My therapist says I don't have to talk about it

2) What Bruce Jones run? Bruce Jones never wrote Nightwing... EVER! GOT IT?

3) By the time it got really bad, I knew the run was going to be over soon, so asked my LCS if I could just keep the subscription going, but put those particular issues back on the shelves, and since I was a good customer, they agreed. (One was a Nightwing fan and shared my pain)

I'm not too keen on Ric Grayson, but I do like the new team of Nightwings wearing his old suits in his absence.

That's actually the part that annoys me the most.

Dick becomes Ric, and Batman is content to let stashes of Nightwing's equipment just lie around Bludhaven.

Ric burns one such location down in a fit of pique, and as a result, the equipment falls into the Wing-not's hands.

Suddenly we have four newbie Nightwing's running around using the name and equipment, and despite Nightwing being the name of one of the most well-connected heroes in the DCU, no other hero seems to give a crap.

Would Batman allow this? Hell, Damian would probably hunt them down on general principle

And as for the female of the team being the one to get the low V-cut Disco-Wing outfit? That's just painful.
