So the whole thing was a scheme for Kraven to get Spidey to kill him. Spidey refuses, Kraven commits suicide again only this time he does it via dressing up as Spidey and getting killed by his son (which apparently fulfills the "must be killed by Spider-Man" loophole?).
Sooo... Marvel brought back Kraven undoing a classic Spider-Man story. Dan Slott purposely kept him out of ASM because he thought he couldn't improve on 'Last Hunt'. For years he's relegated to other heroes' titles. He returns to Spidey and then... dies again. And now we have yet another "Son of Kraven" to take on his father's mantle.
What was the point of bringing him back in the first place? We're literally right back to where he was before the resurrection; Kraven's dead and his kid(s) want revenge.
What they should have done was just follow up on Squirrel Girl's Kraven storyline. At least there we had a new take on the character that made him interesting again.
If they're killing off characters who died iconic deaths and then got resurrected only to have nothing done with them then I can get behind that. Do Harry and May next. Then collect the DeMatteis Spectacular run as a tie-in or whatever.
