And that was very out of character, and was a really shitty ending to a very good RHatO run. Even DC tried to act like it didn't happen like two issues later with the diner scene. I am very happy to forget that bullshit ever occurred, and I appreciate that Bendis is too.

Is that the same beating up? I think the one I'm thinking of came a long time after the diner scene.

I think you might be confusing things; RHATO 25 was the battery in reference, and beeyo seems to be referring to RHATO 27 when Bruce turns up at a diner to tell Jason about Roy, and they hugged and failed to acknowledge how fucked up 25 was in any way.

They've only interacted once in RHATO since then, and whereas Bruce was definitely threatening, I don't think that's what you're thinking of.

Ah thank you, when I heard "diner scene" I was thinking of the one where the boys get together, Jason orders the joker-ised fries and Bruice eats a burger with a knife and fork. :)

Inferior, but I feel like it was an apology from DC for fucking the climax to the whole Bizarro/Artemis arc up. That beating that Bruce gave Jason never should've happened and I'm happy that they responded so quickly.

Yes, but I feel like in their attempt to sweep it under the rug they made it far worse. They barely addressed it, short of Bruce making an offhanded comment about how Jason 'needs an occasional kick in the ass'. It seemed like they were saying 'it's nbd, and Bruce was justified anyway'. Honestly I wouldn't really have much issue with #25, if they'd actually addressed it properly.
