Donatello and a cyborg have just fallen out of a helicopter. The angry cyborg attacks Don.



Donatello braces himself for impact as he falls unconscious.Meanwhile Pimiko and the remaining cyborg arrive at Dragonlord Komodo's facility.



Mako here is actually a pre-existing villain from The Savage Dragon. This will be the first of several Image characters to appear in this series.

Anyway Mako bites an arm off the cyborg when he feeds him. The cyborg complains to Pimiko and tells her that he quits. An angry Pimiko stabs him.



Elsewhere the remaining Turtles have gathered their stuff and are moving to their uncompromised backup lair.



The Turtles realizes they need to learn more about the Dragonlord.
For context at the end of the Mirage series the Turtles formed a truce with the Foot Clan.





The Dragonlord is observing his scientists as they analyse one their captives, a Wolverine parody called The Weasel. They realize that Weasel isn't an "Anthropomorph" but rather a kind of mutant, meaning he's useless to them. Not Wolverine regains consciousnesses and breaks out of his restraints.


At the Mausoleum Leonardo tries to contact Splinter via the Astral Plane. Instead he finds Donatello and the pair are drawn to Donatello's body.





Pimiko and her ninjas have arrived. Look at the cover again and you'll get the gist of the scene.

The only trade collection of TMNT Volume 3 added an extra page for this issue. In it Splinter tries to contact his sons via the Astral Plain, but his captors release knockout gas into his cell. They then take Splinter away to the laboratory….But they didn’t include it for this rerelease.
