Crime Society of America were freaking killed in Forever Evil and their disappearance was a plot point in a Young Justice storyline that has only just ended!!!!!

I genuinely wish I could bring myself to care about this event, it seems to have been running for years (rather than "year"), for very little apparent return.

Yeah, the more I consider it, the less I'm interested in Apex Lex, Batman who Laughs, and both of their respective storylines and associated clingers-on. Best case scenario would be if they cancelled each other out and we could forget all about this.

Also, I fucking HATE red-on-black speech bubbles. It's hard to read.

I like the idea that since Batman refuses to kill the Joker, Owlman goes hunting for innocent clowns to murder.

I like the running gag of Johnny Quick always dying.

And... that's it. Two things. This dopey story has been dragging on way too long, and Apex Lex is a dull take on the character.

Funnily enough, Doomsday Clock just established that every destroyed Earth still exists within the metaverse.

Of course, considering it continuing DC's trend of "endless reboots aren't a bug, they're a feature!", it's probably only a matter of time before the metaverse gets destroyed by Calender Man or somebody.
