Taking a storytelling cue from Venom's tendency to " symbiotes were part of this part of the Marvel universe the whole time ", but with the man inside (and comparatively more " real " history) instead.
This is exactly as goofy and stupid as every comic from the 60's that had Batman's secret ancestor who was also Batman, or Captain America's secret ancestor who was also Captain America. I always hated those stories.
Also, and I don't say this lightly: having a group of Native/Indigenous people be crazy worshipers of a literal space demon is, at best, problematic. It's like the movie Bone Tomahawk, not quite able to outpace its roots.
Founded by girl geeks and members of the slash fandom, scans_daily strives to provide an atmosphere which is LGBTQ-friendly, anti-racist, anti-ableist, woman-friendly and otherwise discrimination and harassment free.
Bottom line: If slash, feminism or anti-oppressive practice makes you react negatively, scans_daily is probably not for you.
