And this is why I can't really care all that much about DCeased. What's the point if everyone keeps dying? It gets dull after a while.

I'm skeptical that Blue Devil could be killed that easily, though I'm sure getting his lungs filled with liquified Plastic Man corpse wouldn't be fun. (I can see Etrigan laughing and enjoying the ride in similar circumstances, though.) And Swamp Thing is essentially unkillable as long as there's even microbial plant life on the planet.

Right? I'm no fan of the "everybody is dead" thing going on in this book, but Plastic Man as a shoggoth is inspired!

Right! I'm sad when someone dies, but with the whole 'cure' thing, Oliver (and frankly, most of them) still have hope, and the characters who died here weren't main players in Dceased. I am willing to sacrifice some of the one-shot characters for this moment lol.

Okay, I just saw a preview for the third issue. John survived, along with Detective Chimp and Swamp Thing (Swamp pulled out the save). Even Zatanna survived.

No. I have no idea how she pulled that off but she did. I'm happy one of my favorite heroines made it out but I'm confused.

I mean, this is crap, but unlike 98% of the stuff I hate in comics this is not in continuity. I appreciate that. I wish more writers built their own toybox to set on fire instead of taking the communal one.

Chimp, Swamp Thing, and John are still alive-- for now. Though can Swampy really die?

Anti-Life Plastic Man so unsettling. First time in this volume been unsettled, though next issue it'll probably be the villains behind infecting Plastic Man.
