Emma cares a heck of a lot more about the safety of mutant children than most mutant leaders. Especially when they're HER kids.

Edit: She does not care about the safety of horses though so I'm worried about that thing between her legs.

Now he's witnessing a family spat he doesn't understand and he's very uncomfortable.

Emma got the horses for Hellfire Bay for her and Kitty

She just greatly enjoys the sight of Kitty Pryde bouncing up and down as she rides something powerful between her legs

And she likes going horse riding with her as well >.>

And I am sure Emma has vowed to only explode the horses if she absolutely has to or if it will be hillarious

Horses on the other hand are very adorable

But Emma has spent the past thirty years being a hero and not causing a single equine death so I think we need to forgive her. Butterrum would want it that way

Personally I utterly adore her. She's one of my favourite heroes in the Marvel universe even if she did cause the death of Butterrum (which I admit I am sad about, but I forgive her)

Not a romantic thing. Emma and Kate's relationship is the largest part of Marauders, and Kate kissed a girl, but it's simply a platonic friendship and mentorship.

Still fun to joke and speculate about, though.

Deadpool’s surprisingly good with kids. His duties as king and the bad blood over killing his best friend would probably stop him from caring for baby Cable here too well, but in any other circumstance there’s far worse babysitters you could hire.

It says something that I took a minute to stop and think about how Cable could be counted as Emma's nephew before I reread the scans and realized it was Jean.

My general rule of thumb is that a clone is a "sibling" of the original if there's one genetic source (Jean is from a big family anyway. What's one more sister gonna matter?) and a "child" of the original when there are multiples (I don't care what Bendix says, Conner Kent has two dad's)

It isn't a perfect system since I was under the impression that the Stepfords are just copies of Emma despite being treated as her daughters and I'm a little fuzzy on the Logan/Laura relationship.

Also, depending on how you look at it, Cable and X-Man are either cousins, half brothers, or the same person.

Part of it is based on non-genetic relationships, I think. The Cuckoos may be clones rather than daughters of Emma, but they're significantly younger and she's been acting as an elder and mentor since before their origin was clarified, so extending that to an adopted motherhood makes a certain amount of sense.

(I'd go with 'aunt,' first, personally, but "Auntie Emma," is what she calls herself while trying to seduce Scott into psychic sex therapy so that's kind of a poisoned well).

I thought their relationship was father and daughter. Its why Daken see's Laura as his sister. I know there was one comic that had Logan say that, but in the last decade thier relationship has been paternal.

To be fair, these Spaceknightts were actually Galadorian criminals and stuff who wanted to use the big glowy sword to remake Earth into the image of their dead homeworld.

And everyone knows that the "no killing" rule for superheroes is automatically suspended in case of aliens and alien invasion.
