Usually pointing to the absurdity of the justice system in comic book universes just breaks the suspension of disbelief, but here its really working for me.

Honest question; what does the symbiote get out of this deal? I understand the appeal of a powerful host like Peter or Mac. I get the benefits of a willing partner like Eddie or Flash. What does it get out of puppeting a guy whose only power is enhanced senses that are largely rendered redundant by a symbiote. I mean, what's the use of radar "vision" when the suit already has 360 vision?

This isn’t Venom’s symbiote and as it is all the others are part of Knull’s hive mind and he’s trying to take over the world so DD is just one of many hosts right now.

Matt learned a LOT of fighting styles from Stick (and others?). That would be helpful for a symbiote.

The fire weakness was always like, you mean as vulnerable to fire as anyone else?

I mean, I feel like an ancient evil is already well versed on ways to beat up human-shaped creatures; the Marvel Universe is full of them. On the bright side it can practice law now.

Yeah, agree on the fire weakness. Its like saying Superman has a magic weakness. Most people wouldn't do well against a blast from Dr. Fate and that's just one of the few things he's not invulnerable to.

Hasn't Matt's sense of touch sensitive enough in other runs to be able to read non-Braille books?

The thing I find dumbest is that the mask doesn't even fully cover his hair. He is just coincidentally a red head like Matt Murdock, nothing to see here folks!
