I notice Logan doesn't mention *how* The Five could restore his powers. If someone thinks you're in a cult, you probably shouldn't bring up the ritual murders.

I'd like to think there was an easier way* but no one ever bothered to look for it because 'ol blue lips was VERY insistent about wanting to murder people.

*Forge: The new model of my mutant depowering gun has a switch to repower mutants. I have no idea why the Council didn't want it.

I think people wanting to undergo the Crucible can choose their executors? At least that’s how that seems to work over in New Mutants.

It's also what happened in the Marauders - when Callisto wanted to undergo it, she was permitted to choose hers. She chose Storm. Storm refused, so they were going to have someone else do it as a backup, but Storm changed her mind and did it.

There *is* an easier way for a depowered mutant to get repowered. They can just ask Wanda. She learned how to reverse it a while ago. That's how Rictor got his powers back.

But no, they'd literally rather kill each before that.

In fairness, that was a one-off situation where Wanda had a boost to her powers which she lost because of Reasons.

Stupid question, but why would Wolverine be part of the resurrection protocols? Isn’t he both immortal and pretty much invulnerable*?

Wolverine can be killed it's just a lot harder than with most people.

Well, he was killed by Hickman on their first mission to Reed and Tony's abandoned space station. Burned up in the sun while eliminating Mother Mold.

It's probably Krakoa. In Benjamin Percy's version of the island, Krakoa just sort of constantly spawns weird and often dangerous creatures. In books other than X-Force and Wolverine, that's not the case.
